Action Research is another thing I had never done before! I loved the idea of being able to use the work that I am doing with my students to help other campuses do the same with theirs. This semester I developed an Action Research Plan from the ground up. Starting with my Outline. My outline gave me a clear picture of how I wanted to go about studying the effect that the Lego Club has on my students. While this is not something that I will be able to complete any live research this year I look forward to hitting the ground running in the new school year. In support of my Action Research Plan, I have my Literature Review with other research to identify the areas of challenges that may arise in the implementation of STEAM programs and hands-on learning on our campus and how to combat them.
